The food was actually surprisingly good. My husband had a great Japanese beer that was a fun discovery.
However, OMG THE FRUIT FLIES! We were inundated with them.
The food was expensive, even somewhat more so than I expect at an airport place, but if the flies hadn't been so bad, I would've given it an extra star. -

Didn't want to sell gelato because it was too cold!!! This After a long wait in line.

I went to grab a water from the little World Bean area, and was told that they were 'technically closed' (it was 6:00pm.. they weren't closed) even though two employees were just standing there doing nothing. I said, no problem, sorry, I'll go somewhere else, and she snapped at me and told me she'd ring me up anyway, like she was doing me a huge favor. Clearly everyone who works here is miserable and enjoys taking it out on the customers so maybe just pick up the essentials from some other kiosk.

What the heck, they automatically add 18.5% tip, but you order your own food from a machine, and they don't fill your water glass.
Like every other airport the prices will make you cringe, and pray your hardest that the food will be worth it. Well let me tell you, this place is not worth it.
You get seated by a host, and that's pretty much the last real interaction you have. You're instructed to use the electronic pad in your face to browse the menu, then swipe your card to pay to make the purchase. Makes it pretty fast, and I liked that I could pay and leave whenever I'm done, but I think guests should have the option on tip amount.
I ordered a $17.75 old fashion. I wanted to splurge since I had a great trip that day. The drink was by far the best thing I ordered. It was quite good, not $17.75 good, but it was an old fashion done right.
$9 for some cold ass stale fries. Micky D's fries would have been soooo much better. Then a $14 salad that was literally some dressed greens and a couple pieces of toasted baguette with goat cheese. It was fine.
I learned my lesson, just find a McDonald's. -

Stopped in here for a quick bite before a flight. Wish I didn't. I ordered the steak tartare. It wasn't minced correctly. There were just these huge chewy cubes instead of a nice smooth mincing. I should've known better than to order this kind of meal in an airport, but oh well. Lesson learned.
